She is the stuff of faerie tales. The villain, the one that gets past the guards and fools someone into taking a bite of her fruit. You want to see her destroyed, taken down by the hero or outsmarted by the heroin. But wait... could it be she has a lesson for us to learn? Could taking a bite of that fruit actually open up a whole new point of view that until now was hidden from us? The decision is yours but you will never find out if you don't take just one bite. Any bold takers out there?

Carrie Viscome Skinner was born in Fulton NY in 1952 and now resides in the woods in Sterling NY with her Husband of 40+ years, a dog named Raven and about 20 chickens. Though Carrie studied art through college and museum courses she considers herself mostly a self-taught artist. She began her art career in the 1960's painting and selling portraits in acrylics, watercolors and pastels. She has also worked with various other media including silk screen printing, clay, wood and stone sculpting, fiber arts, and jewelry making and creating small, personalized books filled with her poetry and art. She is also a published poet and a lover of all things nature and holds a diploma in Environmental Conservation. The converging of art and nature is...
