It's a late spring day and there has just been a wind storm that shook the branches of the trees so hard that now when you look out the window you see a few tiny blue specks in the grass. When you realize what they are you quickly put a coat on and run out to pick them up but when you get there they are not there anymore. That's when you can be sure that your garden has been visited by the Robin Egg Faerie. She brings her motherly tenderness to the bird kingdom as she gently lifts each fallen egg back into its nest.
About Carrie Skinner
Carrie Viscome Skinner was born in Fulton NY in 1952 and now resides in the woods in Sterling NY with her Husband of 40+ years, a dog named Raven and about 20 chickens. Though Carrie studied art through college and museum courses she considers herself mostly a self-taught artist. She began her art career in the 1960's painting and selling portraits in acrylics, watercolors and pastels. She has also worked with various other media including silk screen printing, clay, wood and stone sculpting, fiber arts, and jewelry making and creating small, personalized books filled with her poetry and art.
